“Mitch” was a long-awaited foal from one of my most beautiful mares and my World Champion Stallion. He was the most incredibly refined foal you could hope for…with an absolutely dynamic head and neck.Unfortunately, Mitch was born very early and although we have saved babies who were earlier than he was in their arrival, we knew we were in for a long ride.I chose to let a close friend take him and “mother” him as I knew he would get the best of care and the round the clock attention that I couldn’t give him having a new baby of my own.He fought very hard to live…and showed us how much heart he truly had.Unfortunately, after just a few weeks of life, Mitch succumbed to an infection. While he was here such a very short time…that little man couldn’t have been more loved and cherished by so many people. He touched a lot of people and a lot of hearts.
Thank you to Jody Baton…and her daughters Brittany and Whittany, for all the love and devotion they gave to Mitch the short time that he was here.Your efforts are much appreciated...
