Painted Gold was at one time on of the top show fillies in the country. She was a beautiful little mare who stole the hearts and earned the respect of a lot of people. She was a winner not only in Open and Amateur Halter, but in Color and Showmanship as well. The hope, when you have a top show mare like Painted Gold, is to have her be just as good of a producer. We can definitely say Painted Gold has been…one of her granddaughters was one of the top sellers at Little King’s sale just a couple of years ago. Painted Gold went over 10 years with no babies, but she has just foaled a beautiful colt by Star Strucks Phantom, and she will be bred back the same way for a 2009 foal.
