Sunny, our wonder boy, was acquired this summer when my daughter was about 10 months old.It was love at first sight for them both and she began riding him immediately.She literally was riding before she could walk!We believe Sunny to be ˝ Welsh and ˝ Shetland…but are not certain.What we are certain of is that he was meant to be here.He is a sweetheart.He was a hunter/jumper pony at a large hunter facility when he was sold to some people who just didn’t ever do anything with him.We traced him back to his original owners and found out that he was an Intermediate to Advanced jumper and was a little “hot”.He has yet to put one foot wrong around my daughter.She leads him up and down the hallway of the barn while she in her stroller and he just puts his head down beside her and does whatever she asks.She LOVES to ride him and about the only time you will hear her cry is when she has to get off of him.We couldn’t have found a better pony for Aspen and I know they will spend many years getting into trouble together.He loves peanut butter crackers and just about anything else she will feed to him.Sunny is a wonderful guy and truly is a “delight” to be around…
